Dr Amanda Rogers
I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist for 15 years with a range of Government services including Disability Services, Juvenile Justice and Mental Health. I have experience working with a range of mental health issues across the lifespan – with children, adolescents, and adults.

My gentle, frank and curious nature helps clients from a range of backgrounds feel comfortable in sessions. I view the client as the expert in their recovery journey – what they want to achieve, the pace they wish to work at, the degree of input they want, and the strengths they bring to the process. Each person is different, so I see myself as walking alongside my clients, providing as much guidance as they need in each moment. This is my favourite aspect of my work – that I am always learning about people and growing in my practice. I have a range of approaches I can use and am always guided by the client’s preferences, seeking feedback at each stage and working transparently. Together we can define your goals, assess the issues, plan a treatment approach, and measure the outcomes. I enjoy working with individuals, families and couples, and can provide liaison with GPs, schools, other agencies, and carers. We all exist within a broader system and sometimes our mental health can be healed in this broader context.
